The American Legion is the Nation’s largest veterans’ organization that represents millions of men and women
who have proudly served and continue to serve in this country’s armed forces. The Legion offers camaraderie and assistance
to veterans with their battles for benefits and medical care. Rights and benefits granted them by law—law for which
the American Legion can accept a major share of credit.
