To support activites such as Girls State, the Auxiliary has 3 fund raisers for the year. A flower, craft, and bake sales
the Saturday before Mothers Day, Old Farm Days at Pleasant Grove (the 1st Saturday in October) and a Christmas craft sale
in December. As we get closer we will post the date.

One of our primary missions, we concentrate our efforts on Hunter McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond. We collect clothes,
shoes, books, magazines, cards, puzzles, playing cards, games, CD's, DVDs, any sort of bag that can be used to carry clothes,
and personal care items since the hospital only supplies a bar of soap to patients. We also make lap robes, bibs, wheel chair
bags and stretcher bags for the patients. This last year we collected and donated approximately $7500 in goods.

We also collect stuffed animals that we give to the Fluvanna Sheriff for the patrol cars to carry to give to children in distress.
We also make and donate child size blanket to be used for the same reason. Any women and children items collected are donated
to MACCA and other charities in the county, toys are given to Helping Hands, a Christmas project.
